Jon Bjornsson
CEOJon brings extensive experience in business management and transformation projects both in Iceland and Scandinavia. Most recently, Jon served as the CEO of Origo hf., and he has previously held CEO positions at Festi and Kronan, Orf Genetics, Magasin du Nord, and Hagar. Jon is also a board member of Boozt.com, Origo Solutions, and Dropp. Furthermore, he has been a board member of Artasan, one of Veritas' companies, since 2023.
Kjartan Steinsson
Chief Financial OfficerKjartan Steinsson is the Chief Financial Officer of Veritas and has played a key role in the growth and development of the Group for many years. He brings extensive experience in financial and operational management and oversees the Group’s finances, financing activities, and real estate portfolio. Prior to joining Veritas, he held a variety of leadership and financial management positions across diverse industries in Iceland. Kjartan holds a Cand. Oecon. degree in Finance from the University of Iceland.
Harpa Víðisdóttir
Director of Human Resources and Internal ServicesHarpa Víðisdóttir was appointed Director of Human Resources and Internal Services in 2025. She has many years of leadership experience in human resources and has held key positions within the insurance, financial services, and energy sectors. Harpa leads the Human Resources and Internal Services division with a focus on simple and effective processes, building a healthy workplace culture, and developing strong leadership capabilities. She is a registered nurse with a B.Sc. degree from the University of Iceland and a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management.
Brynja Dís Sólmundsdóttir
Director of Information Technology and InfrastructureBrynja Dís Sólmundsdóttir was appointed Director of Information Technology and Infrastructure in 2025. She brings extensive experience in leadership, strategic planning, and transformation projects, having held management roles across operations, consulting, and information technology. Brynja leads the division with a focus on digital transformation, security, streamlined processes, and infrastructure that supports the Group’s growth and success. She holds a Master’s degree in Finance, an M.Sc. in Pharmacy, and an APME certification in Project Management.
Arnar Þórðarson
General Manager - VistorArnar Þórðarson was appointed Managing Director of Vistor in 2020. He brings extensive experience in marketing and leadership roles within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors, both in Iceland and internationally, including positions at Novo Nordisk and Vistor. Arnar leads the company with a strong focus on professionalism, collaboration, and delivering outstanding service to customers and partners. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from Auburn University Montgomery and an M.Sc. in Marketing from Copenhagen Business School.
Sigtryggur Hilmarsson
General Manager - MEDORSigtryggur Hilmarsson was appointed Managing Director of STOÐ in 2026. He brings decades of leadership and strategic management experience within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, and medical technology sectors. Throughout his career, he has held key positions at companies including MEDOR, Vistor, and Radiometer. Sigtryggur leads STOÐ with a focus on professional service, innovation, and effective collaboration with healthcare institutions and customers. He holds a degree in Pharmacy and an MBA from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.
Brynjúlfur Guðmundsson
General Manager - ArtasanBrynjúlfur Guðmundsson is the Managing Director of Artasan. He has extensive experience in sales, marketing, and leadership within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries, both in Iceland and abroad. Throughout his career, he has held positions at Artasan, ARRI in London, and Accenture in the United Kingdom. Brynjúlfur is committed to clear strategic direction, strong collaboration, and delivering services that create value for customers and society. He holds a B.Sc. in International Marketing and an MBA from Reykjavík University.
Snorri Páll Sigurðsson
General Manager - DisticaSnorri Páll Sigurðsson was appointed Managing Director of Distica in 2026. He has extensive experience in operations, supply chain management, and the development of service-oriented businesses, having held a variety of leadership roles both in Iceland and internationally. Prior to joining Distica, he worked at Alvotech, Landspítali – The National University Hospital of Iceland, and Maersk in Denmark. Snorri leads Distica with a focus on continuous improvement, strong collaboration, and reliable service that supports customer success and the company’s continued growth. He holds a degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management from Copenhagen Business School.

Hreggvidur (Reggie) Jonsson
Chairman of the BoardMr. Jonsson is the Chairman and main owner of Veritas, the parent company of Vistor, Distica, Artasan, MEDOR and Stod. The group is the leading supplier and service provider to the healthcare sector in Iceland. Mr. Jonsson has extensive international management experience in various industries. He was the CEO of Veritas and previously Vistor from 2002-2013. Prior to founding Veritas in 2002, he was the CEO of Northern Lights Communications (now 365 media), Iceland’s largest media and entertainment group. He has also worked for Cargill Inc. in the USA and as a Management Consultant for McKinsey and Company in Sweden. Mr. Jonsson has served as a board member of various companies and was Chairman of the Board of the Iceland Chamber of Commerce from 2012-2016. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Macalester College and an MBA degree from Harvard Business School.
Thoranna Jonsdottir
Board memberThoranna Jonsdottir is a management consultant with her own company Delta Consulting. She is also an Assistant Professor at Reykjavik University where she previously served as Dean of the Business School and as Senior Executive Director of Strategy and Operations. She was VP of Business Development at Audur Capital, Veritas and Vistor, and the first GM of Artasan. Thoranna has extensive experience of executive consulting, particularly change management, strategy and corporate governance. She is currently the Chairman of the Board of Landsbref and has served on various corporate boards including Festi, Krónan, Íslandsbanki and Lyfja. Thoranna holds a doctorate in business from Cranfield University, an MBA degree from IESE in Barcelona and a master’s degree in pharmaceuticals.
Hördur Arnarson
Board memberMr. Arnarson is CEO of Landsvirkjun, Iceland’s state-owned energy company. He has extensive experience in international management and has served on the boards of various companies and industry associations. Mr. Arnarson served as the caretaker CEO of Sjóvá (an insurance company) and lead the reorganization of the company in 2009. He was CEO of Marel Food Systems from 1999-2009 and prior to that held various other positions within the company from 1985-1999.
Mr. Arnarson holds a degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Iceland and a Ph.D. degree in Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark. He has also attended various seminars at INSEAD and Harvard Business School.
